We enjoyed an incredible day here at The Landmark on Saturday 22nd July as we hosted a very special retirement party.
Celebrating his early retirement was Philip Simpson, Director of Freightlink, a leading European freight ferry and tunnel ticket agent, who provide more than 1000 routes in over 50 countries for couriers, hauliers, manufacturers and many other businesses.
We were extremely proud to be chosen by Philip as the venue for his big day and what a day it was.
Over 100 people joined us in The Assembly Hall and The Lounge for what was a remarkable event including live music, great food, a children’s entertainer and laughs aplenty, as well as a fantastic selection of drinks from our Lounge bar.
Extremely busy greeting his guests and of course, enjoying his party, we managed to grab a quick word with Philip, who gave us his thoughts on The Landmark as a venue.

“I would just like to say thank you to the team, they have been superb in hosting my retirement/sale of business party.
I have a lot of people here from work and everybody here has said what an amazing venue it is and it is, it’s brilliant and they’ve kept it going all day long.
